This is the first sketch I made on my solo road trip across Wyoming. Immediately after crossing the border from Colorado into Cheyenne, the traffic subsided. I took the first exit and found myself on a long road next to a fence that stretched to the horizon. No cars passed by. No cows grazed. The only sound was the blowing of the tall grass. Dark clouds gathered in the distance and crept towards me. This sketch represents my attempt to capture them.
